These girls became fast friends when we moved to San Diego. They are still buddies. Maddie names all of her stuffed animals after her good friend.
The girls performed at an outdoor amphitheater. They performed their ballet dances twice and all the performers did a tap dance for the finale.
She looks like she has a little stage fright. I think she was saying "cheese" for the picture while being distracted by the other dancers.

Oh man. So cute. I'm so glad I'll get to enjoy doing that one day with my little Sydney. I'm glad Maddie loves that name, too, because she'll like our little hija for sure!
i also wish i could have been there too. i love the action shot with her pointed toe. she is so grown up. i can't believe i haven't seen her since August...
Thanks for posting. I got emotional watching little Maddie up there. She did such a great job and was smiling and dancing with such grace. Her teacher tells us that we must keep her in dance because she has such great feet.
Angie!! She is so cute, and so grown up looking like a real ballerina! Beautiful pics! You know not every little girl has that talent. (We were kicked out of dance class twice as a three year old, remember!) Go Madison!

I always wanted to be a ballerina...how lucky for Madison to get such a perfect, early start. Way to go mom! I have been told I have the perfect feet for such ventures unfortunately that is the only body part perfect..o, except for the flat chest..have that too. Maybe I could just get a pretty pink tu tu?? hmmm.
