I love fresh apples in the fall! Especially with some caramel drizzled all over! What a great fall family activity!

Okay- It wasn't that cold, maybe 50degrees, but for us fair-weathered Californians it felt REALLY cold. Especially when you factor in the wind chill.:) We did get a few funny looks since we were all decked out in snow clothes, but hey it is a novelty for us.

Looks like so much fun. I remember when I went apple-picking with the kids in CA and then we made yummy applebutter. I hope you have some yummy goodies planned with your fresh apples!

Super fun!! Yeah, you look like you're about to hit the slopes! Funny how you acclimate so quickly to the environment. 50 degrees isn't half bad around here. =) Miss you guys!

Your family has such a fun apple-picking tradition and I'm glad to be a part of this year's outing--if only through pictures.
